It’s a common practice to ferment juniper in the Balkans for the purpose of making a lemonade substitute. This lovely refreshing Smreka inspired us to use fermented juniper to create Funk. Made by naturally fermenting juniper in a mixture of sea salt and lemons.

A classic easy-to-make cocktail that showcases all of Funk’s citrus flavour. Transform it into a long drink by topping it with soda.
INGREDIENTS
50 ml funk
25 ml lime juice
12.5 ml sugar syrup
8 mint leaves
Soda (optional)
METHOD
Add all of your ingredients to a shaker, shake, and strain into a chilled glass. (Top up with soda if you prefer a longer, refreshing serve!)
